Slippers

Tomorrow after we’re done with our quickie trip to downtown, I will stop at the store. Our daughter needs new slippers since the one she has right now doesn’t fit her good anymore. She had these since last year and her feet have just gotten so much bigger. She has lots of tennis shoes, but she only has one pair of water slipper. Just like her Dad, he only has one pair of slippers to wear in the water too. Don’t ask me how much I paid for them because I can’t remember. I love all types of boots, sandals, flip-flops and even high heels. Anyway, I went online shopping for her slippers and found this cute and stylish pair. For sure she will love to wear these because she’s also a little fashionista. Though, she loves purple more than pink, the ones that I found were on sale, but they’re pink. Well, I guess she will just have to wear them.

My younger sister is turning 25 years old next month. I know how much she loves heart themed gifts. Her room is filled with heart sign decorations and I asked her one time about it and she just told me she loves it. So of course, on her birthday I’m thinking of giving her a heart sign symbol or something. I don’t have time to go to the mall because I have a lot of work to do. So, I went surfing on the internet while I was eating my lunch. I found this sterling silver red crystal heart pendant with a matching earring set and the first thing that came to my mind was my sister. I didn’t look for anything because this one will be perfect and for sure she will love what I got for her. I can imagine her jumping up in the air the moment she opens the red box. I just can’t wait to shop and give it to her on her special day.

Saving money on books

I was thinking of taking our daughter to the library and have her listen to the story telling which the library offers for free. I love our library here because they have lots of free activities for kids, especially now that it during the summer break. Lot of kids are in the park and library whenever we go. Another good thing about our library is that it’s next to the park. This is the kind of park I would love to go to everyday because it’s clean and no pets or glasses are allowed. They have a nice water fountain for kids to play and a nice big playground. We always go there, especially now it’s summer and the weather is nice and warm.

Engagement rings

I’ve never seen a place where I was so amazed with their engagement selection of rings to choose from. Starbucks

I was happy when I checked the mail today. I got a letter with $5 gift card from Starbucks. I registered for a reward membership last year since I love drinking coffee and I love Starbucks. I already have 15 stars and if I get to 30, I guess I will have lots of options what free stuff I can get. I love free stuff, especially if I like the products. I’m excited to use my free gift card, so I went to the Starbucks close to where I live and ordered ice coffee with milk. It was so good and just made my day. I still have some credits left on my gift card, so I bought a couple of a vanilla doughnuts topped with pink vanilla icing and white sprinkles and our daughter just jumped for joy. She knows we got them for free and thankful for Starbucks for the free doughnuts.

Picnic mat

Since summer is here and the weather has been nice and warm, I was thinking of going to the park and having a little picnic. I use the heavy blanket whenever we go on a picnic and my hubby told me last night that we need to buy picnic mats. I didn’t think about it until he told me. That is a great idea and we will buy some on our next shopping trip. In the meantime, I will surf on the internet for picnic mats and hope I find a style I like. Now we’re all excited go to on a picnic this weekend.

Water shoe

Our daughter told me recently to buy her water shoes to wear this summer. She needed them because the last time we went to the park, they have a small lake for kids to play in and it’s rocky under the water. She doesn’t like to walk there barefoot because it hurts her feet. I can’t blame her because it does look rough to me and most of the kids that play there wear slippers or water shoes. We went to Target after the park and found these cute, pink water shoes. Rachel was so happy I grabbed the pink pair she liked. I wasn’t too excited about it because it wasn’t on sale. But, I couldn’t say no to her, especially when she told me how much she loved me and I’m the best Mom in the whole wide world. I was laughing so hard when I heard her say those words. It just made my heart melt and I know she meant it.

Pendant

I was just thinking of buying a heart pendant when I saw this nice diamond heart pendant in a magazine this afternoon. I really like the style, the color and of course the size. When I showed it to my sister, she couldn’t stop looking at it and she said she loved it. My sister and I have the same taste for fashion and jewelry. I always ask her opinion or suggestion before I buy anything. The only bummer thing is that the necklace size is long which I don’t like. I like the 16 inch size because I have a short neck. I never have had a black diamond with a combination of white gold. This is really an awesome style and really I love it. I need to show this one to my hubby and we will see what happens next.

Flower sandal

Me and Rachel went to the outlet mall this afternoon. I wasn’t planning to go there, but when I saw the sign that the Gymboree store was having a sale, I told my hubby we had to stop there. My hubby was pretty cool today and dropped me and Rachel at the store. While shopping for clothes, I saw these cute, stylish summer sandals for Rachel. It was on sale and I really love it. Before I buy them, I let rachel try them on first and she told me they fit perfectly. I was so happy because they looked good on her feet. When we got home, she was excited to wear them and showed her new shoes to her daddy. After a couple of minutes of wearing them, she complained her feet were getting sore and she won’t wear the sandals ever again. It’s really a bummer because she liked them, but it hurts when she wears them. I don’t have a choice other than to return them.

Umbrella

I went grocery shopping this afternoon, but I didn’t know that it will rain which cause us to me to get wet on the way to the car. Even though it was really gloomy out, I didn’t think of bringing an umbrella with me. I heard from my hubby that it would be like this again tomorrow. I already had a plan to go out with my friends and the bummer thing is that we don’t have an umbrella around the house. Right now, I’m shopping for an umbrella since I couldn’t find one at home. I found one in Target and the price iss pretty reasonable. While surfing, I found one for our daughter and I’ll bet she will be surprised because it’s a princess umbrella. She’s been asking me to get her one of those umbrellas and this is the right time because it’s spring time. I can’t wait to buy one for her so we can use it tomorrow. Now I won’t get wet ever again because I will have my umbrella with to me.

Straw floppy hat

It’s been so hot here lately and honestly I can’t for the winter to come. Our daughter loves the outdoors and almost everyday we go to the park. Since the park is pretty close to where we live, I decided to just walk there. But, after a couple of minutes of walking, the heat really bothers me. Maybe because I live in the high altitude and I was thinking because the sun feels so close, I need to buy a straw hat where it covers my whole face. Maybe it will help me feel less hot when I wear this kind of floppy straw hat. I have been planning to get that type of hat and tonight I will definitely buy one. I already picked the color I want which of course is the PINK one. I’m really excited since I will be outside a lot this summer.

Summer dress

It’s the time of the year when I wear short summer dresses all the time. I love to wear them because they are light, cool and comfortable. I have a couple of summer dresses that I bought last year. They were on sale, so I got a pretty good deal on them. Even though I have a couple of them in the closet, I was still looking around and trying to find some more good deals. While I was surfing on the internet, there’s one banner that pops up and it was Old Navy. Just for the heck of it, I clicked and then found the dresses that I have been looking for. I have been planning to get one of these styles and I finally found it. I was so happy when I saw the red tag that means it’s on sale. Maybe I will go to the Old Navy store this weekend and I’m hoping to get my size. I wear small or extra small, depending on the manufacturer. I have some clothing from Old Navy and my size for their clothing is extra small which makes me feel good because it sounds like I’m small, but I’m not. I don’t really have any special diet because it hasn’t work for me in the past.
