Paint

Our daughter kept bugging me to buy her some paint. I was so busy these past few days that I haven’t been to the store. I usually buy her craft materials at the dollar store because she likes it and we get a lot for the money. Also, there’s a lot of good crafty materials there that she needs. I love the dollar store, but most of the stuff there is usually junky to me. Anyway, I called my hubby to see if he could stop at the store and grab some paint for Rachel. He told me it’s out of the way and we will just to wait for another day since we are going grocery shopping at Walmart tomorrow. I think that was a great idea from my hubby so I told Rachel about it and she agreed. I was really glad that she understood and didn’t get upset since she has to wait until tomorrow.

Mangoes

I went to visit my friends house yesterday. She cooked a lot of food and I’m loving it because it’s all of my favorites. I was surprised to see a bunch of mangoes on the dining room table. I love mangoes and I used to eat them in my hometown. So, I asked her where she bought them and she told me at the asian store. She sliced some for our dessert that night and it was so yummy and sweet. I was really excited to buy some at the store the next day. I told my hubby about my plans to make sure we can go. I’m glad he was okay to drive me up there because it’s quite a drive. I was really happy when I got there because they have a lot of mangoes in the boxes that just arrived. I bought two dozen mangoes which will surely last into next week.

Bubbles

It’s been so hot and warm here lately. Rachel and I have been so busy playing outside. We love the outdoors and we have a lot of outdoor toys. Recently, we were out of bubbles and I know how much she likes to play bubbles, especially during the warm days. So, I went to the store and grabbed her a big bottle of bubbles and she was so happy about it. Since she has some refill bottles where I can just pour some in there if it’s empty she won’t run out for a while. The big bottles that I got for her is too big for her to handle and pour. Good thing she got a lot of small bottles. Right now she’s in the backyard playing and blowing some bubbles. She is having a lot of fun out there. I might need to call her inside because it’s getting late. She needs to clean up before we eat dinner tonight.

Princess ball

Rachel has a couple of balls already, but when we went out grocery shopping at Walgreen’s this afternoon, she saw this cute princess ball. She grabbed it right away and asked me if I could buy it for her. I didn’t say yes because she has like three balls and their all in the backyard. I told her that but she told me she didn’t have the princess one yet. Well, when I checked the price, it was really cheap, so I told her if she promised to be a good girl then I might buy the ball for her. As always, she told me she will be a good girl for the rest of her life she said. I was laughing so hard hearing her say that. She was so excited to play with it, so she hurried me to get home and when we did, she went looking for her Daddy right away. She was so excited to show it to him and they had fun playing with it together. She got so tired she asked me if I could give her an early dinner so she could go to bed soon. I didn’t cook anything today because we had some leftovers from last night.

Cheerios

I went grocery shopping this afternoon at Target. Our daughter was running out of Cherrios and when I went to the store one of the flavors that she likes wasn’t on sale. Instead the original one which doesn’t have any flavor at all was on sale. I asked her first if it’s okay to switch to the original one. It took her a while to say yes and I tried to let her know that it was on sale and we tried to buy the cheapest, but healthy food. I’m so glad she understood and she told me if the one she likes is on sale next, she wants to buy a couple of them so it will last a while. I was laughing and said yes to her minor request. We didn’t shop very long because there wasn’t many people in the cashier area. After we shopped we stopped at the library and returned the books. We also checked out a couple more and she was excited for me to read them at bedtime. I usually read a book to her every night.

Cart

I went grocery shopping at Target today. I usually go to the other store because it’s closer to where I live but this afternoon, I went to Target. It was on the way and I was thinking it might be good to go shopping there because I also have some coupons that I got from the mail yesterday. After I was done in the grocery aisle, Rachel grabbed my hand and dragged me to the toy section. She told me she was not thinking of buying anything, but she just wanted to look. So, I said okay since she’s been good sitting on the cart the whole time I was doing shopping. She even told me that she already has plenty of toys and at this moment she didn’t need anything. After window shopping in the toy area, we went to the clothing section.

Running out

I was running out of coffee and when I went to the store, I forgot to grab the brand that I usually drink. Instead I bought the other brand which really was a big mistake. For once, I told myself not to experiment if I’m not sure about the outcome. I was upset because the one that I bought was not good at all. It tasted so bland and had a bitter taste. I always use coffee creamer with my coffee, but this one has already has cream in it. Well, I guess this will add to my learning experiences. My hubby was out with our daughter in the park and I called him to see if he could stop at the store. He said he would and I asked him if he could grab the coffee brand that I like. When he got home from the store, I was so happy. Even though it was late at night, I was so excited to make one cup before I went to bed.

Meant

I meant to write on my grocery list to buy sanitizer and sunblock. Rachel’s hands touches everything and she has the habit of putting her hands in her mouth. I always want to make sure that her hands are always clean. Whenever we go out, I always have sanitizer with me just in case I can’t find a bathroom where I can wash her hands with soap and water. The other day, my sanitizer ran out and I forgot to grab another one at the store this morning. I was so upset because it’s always on my mind to buy one and the sunblock too. The weather has been warmer lately and we are at the park almost every day. I always put sunblock on me and Rachel when we are outside. The same thing happened, I forgot to grab it again earlier, so I called my hubby this afternoon and asked him if he could stop at Walgreens and buy the stuff that I needed. I was so glad he said yes and now that he is home, I got a bag with everything I needed. I was so happy because we are planning to go to the park tomorrow morning and the forecast it warm and sunny.

Dolce and Gabbana

I know I should not buy anymore watches, but I just couldn’t help myself. It’s hard to pass on this one because I got a very good deal with this watch. I was with a friend today, strolling and I didn’t have a plan to buying anything. She already told me she was looking to buy some watches to send to her hometown. Luckily, the store that we went to was having a sale going on. I was really impressed with all of the prices for their popular brands. My friend kept telling me to buy the watch because it was really good looking and for the price I was really excited to buy it. I can’t believe how much the price was she told me and so I grabbed it and went to the cashier. I got another watch for my collection that I wasn’t plan to buy. I was really happy though and I’m glad I bought it because my hubby just loved it. The funny thing was, when I chatted with my sister that night, I showed it to her on my webcam and she really liked it too. As a matter of fact, she will buy from me if I will sell it to her. I really don’t know and I might just give it to her the next time I visit my family in the Philippines.

DVD case

I have been looking for a good DVD case. Recently I was cleaning my iphoto and burning some pictures on to DVDs. My hubby bought me two boxes of DVDs to burn some pictures that are on our computers. I don’t have enough memory to use in my laptop because of the pictures I have stored. I have almost 30,000 pictures and I need to transfer them just to be safe. One thing I need to have is have a DVD case where I can put all the DVDs with pictures and videos stored on them. I always treasure the photos and videos we have and I want to keep them in a safe place. Anyway, we went to Microcenter last week to fix my hubby’s laptop. I found a bunch of DVD cases for sale. It stores up to 96 DVDs for a very cheap price. I bought a couple of them so we will have plenty in the future. I was so happy because all the DVD pictures I had to burn are already stored safely in the DVD case.

Ballet flat

I can’t help myself when I saw this pair of flat sandals. The first time I went to the store and saw this pair, I was wishing that it was on sale. There’s no stickers or anything that telling that the item was on sale. I only know that it was because I went to the checkout counter and asked them to scan how much the price was in the system. To my surprise, the shoe-lady said it was on sale and the price was really low. I was so happy because I really liked these sandals and of course even more since they were ninety percent off from the original price. However, they felt a little small when I was wearing them and the lady told me they will eventually stretch out a bit if I keep wearing them. So, I bought them and have been wearing them inside the house for days now. The shoe-lady was right, they really did stretch some and now they fit perfect on my feet. Our daughter really likes the style and she kept telling me how nice they look on me. Also, I got a couple of purses that match my new sandals.
