I went grocery shopping at Target today. I usually go to the other store because it’s closer to where I live but this afternoon, I went to Target. It was on the way and I was thinking it might be good to go shopping there because I also have some coupons that I got from the mail yesterday. After I was done in the grocery aisle, Rachel grabbed my hand and dragged me to the toy section. She told me she was not thinking of buying anything, but she just wanted to look. So, I said okay since she’s been good sitting on the cart the whole time I was doing shopping. She even told me that she already has plenty of toys and at this moment she didn’t need anything. After window shopping in the toy area, we went to the clothing section.

Running out

I was running out of coffee and when I went to the store, I forgot to grab the brand that I usually drink. Instead I bought the other brand which really was a big mistake. For once, I told myself not to experiment if I’m not sure about the outcome. I was upset because the one that I bought was not good at all. It tasted so bland and had a bitter taste. I always use coffee creamer with my coffee, but this one has already has cream in it. Well, I guess this will add to my learning experiences. My hubby was out with our daughter in the park and I called him to see if he could stop at the store. He said he would and I asked him if he could grab the coffee brand that I like. When he got home from the store, I was so happy. Even though it was late at night, I was so excited to make one cup before I went to bed.

Meant

I meant to write on my grocery list to buy sanitizer and sunblock. Rachel’s hands touches everything and she has the habit of putting her hands in her mouth. I always want to make sure that her hands are always clean. Whenever we go out, I always have sanitizer with me just in case I can’t find a bathroom where I can wash her hands with soap and water. The other day, my sanitizer ran out and I forgot to grab another one at the store this morning. I was so upset because it’s always on my mind to buy one and the sunblock too. The weather has been warmer lately and we are at the park almost every day. I always put sunblock on me and Rachel when we are outside. The same thing happened, I forgot to grab it again earlier, so I called my hubby this afternoon and asked him if he could stop at Walgreens and buy the stuff that I needed. I was so glad he said yes and now that he is home, I got a bag with everything I needed. I was so happy because we are planning to go to the park tomorrow morning and the forecast it warm and sunny.

Dolce and Gabbana

I know I should not buy anymore watches, but I just couldn’t help myself. It’s hard to pass on this one because I got a very good deal with this watch. I was with a friend today, strolling and I didn’t have a plan to buying anything. She already told me she was looking to buy some watches to send to her hometown. Luckily, the store that we went to was having a sale going on. I was really impressed with all of the prices for their popular brands. My friend kept telling me to buy the watch because it was really good looking and for the price I was really excited to buy it. I can’t believe how much the price was she told me and so I grabbed it and went to the cashier. I got another watch for my collection that I wasn’t plan to buy. I was really happy though and I’m glad I bought it because my hubby just loved it. The funny thing was, when I chatted with my sister that night, I showed it to her on my webcam and she really liked it too. As a matter of fact, she will buy from me if I will sell it to her. I really don’t know and I might just give it to her the next time I visit my family in the Philippines.

DVD case

I have been looking for a good DVD case. Recently I was cleaning my iphoto and burning some pictures on to DVDs. My hubby bought me two boxes of DVDs to burn some pictures that are on our computers. I don’t have enough memory to use in my laptop because of the pictures I have stored. I have almost 30,000 pictures and I need to transfer them just to be safe. One thing I need to have is have a DVD case where I can put all the DVDs with pictures and videos stored on them. I always treasure the photos and videos we have and I want to keep them in a safe place. Anyway, we went to Microcenter last week to fix my hubby’s laptop. I found a bunch of DVD cases for sale. It stores up to 96 DVDs for a very cheap price. I bought a couple of them so we will have plenty in the future. I was so happy because all the DVD pictures I had to burn are already stored safely in the DVD case.

Ballet flat

I can’t help myself when I saw this pair of flat sandals. The first time I went to the store and saw this pair, I was wishing that it was on sale. There’s no stickers or anything that telling that the item was on sale. I only know that it was because I went to the checkout counter and asked them to scan how much the price was in the system. To my surprise, the shoe-lady said it was on sale and the price was really low. I was so happy because I really liked these sandals and of course even more since they were ninety percent off from the original price. However, they felt a little small when I was wearing them and the lady told me they will eventually stretch out a bit if I keep wearing them. So, I bought them and have been wearing them inside the house for days now. The shoe-lady was right, they really did stretch some and now they fit perfect on my feet. Our daughter really likes the style and she kept telling me how nice they look on me. Also, I got a couple of purses that match my new sandals.

Finally!

I have been busy looking for our videocam. Since I can't find myself, I asked my hubby to look for it. It's been a while since the last time I used it. I have been so busy lately that I haven't taken any videos of our little princess. Luckily, when he went to the basement earlier this week, he found it.  I was so happy because I'm in the mood to take some videos of Rachel. She knows a lot of songs and it's really nice to have them recorded for the future and also I'm planning to send my mom and dad some videos of Rachel singing. We bought this one a couple of years ago because we want to have a video camera of Rachel's adventures and other memorable events in our life. We recorded a lot of cool videos last year that we haven't download yet. I don't know how many more hours we can take without downloading what we already have on the camera.  Just to make sure and be safe, I will download them later this week if I'm not very busy. For now, I will charge it so I can start taking videos of our little princess again starting tomorrow.

Coupon

My hubby checked the mail this afternoon right before he picked up Rachel from school. We got lots of mail since we didn’t check the mail since last weekend. We have been busy or should I say lazy in getting our mail recently. We pay bills online I guess that is why my hubby doesn’t bother to check the mailbox anymore. He only remembers when I ask him to check it. Anyway, right when he got home he handed me this small paper and told me he had a surprise for me. I was excited about it and when I checked, it was from DSW.  I asked him if he needed some shoes and said he said no thanks.  I don’t have a plan to buy any shoes right now because I just bought some at Kohl's last week.   Anyway, I checked on their site and couldn’t find anything special.  I might just give this coupon to one of my friends.   I heard one of them is planning to buy a pair of boots since winter shoes and boots are on sale right now. I will give her a call after dinner tonight and tell her about this one.
